Spanning five floors, Market House offers a range of culinary experiences: a stylish, contemporary restaurant on the first floor; an intimate, candlelit Wine Cellar; a state-of-the-art Food Lab; elegant Private Dining Rooms; and a bright, airy Meeting Room with sweeping city views.

We are seeking an enthusiastic

Front of House Supervisor

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and passionate about delivering an exceptional food, drink, and guest experience. A minimum of one year's experience in a similar supervisory role is essential. We are looking for team players with a positive, can-do attitude, an approachable manner, and the willingness to learn while ensuring every guest receives the highest standard of service. Full training on our food and drink menus and POS system will be provided.

Responsibilities

Deliver warm, attentive, and professional service throughout the guest experience Serve food and drinks to the highest standards Use the POS system to take orders and process payments Maintain a clean and organised FOH area Adhere to all SOPs, including Food Hygiene, allergens, COSHH, and HACCP Manage team workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring performance, and reporting to senior management

Requirements

Minimum one year of relevant experience as a restaurant supervisor Strong knowledge of food and beverage products Understanding of Food Hygiene and allergens Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail Flexible, open-minded, and willing to embrace new ideas Strong team-player qualities Positive and approachable manner Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: 16.00-17.00 per hour
