Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend suitable items. Demonstrate strong selling techniques, including upselling and cross-selling products. Maintain an organised sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring displays are visually appealing. Handle customer inquiries via phone, online and in-person with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall customer experience. Stay informed about product features, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.

Skills

Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers confidently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish or English, are highly desirable for effective customer interaction. Proven ability to sell products through persuasive communication and relationship-building techniques. Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage inventory efficiently. A proactive approach to upselling products based on customer needs and preferences.
