Sales, Marketing & Events Coordinator

, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the hotel's sales efforts, ensuring smooth coordination of meeting and event bookings, and leading our social media presence. You will work closely with internal departments and external clients to help deliver exceptional service and drive commercial success.

Key Responsibilities



Meetings & Events Coordination



Handle and respond to enquiries for meetings and events via phone, email, and face-to-face Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Front Office, Operations, GM) to ensure seamless delivery of client requirements at weekly Ops Meeting Assist the Director of Sales with bookings, from quoting to contracting and invoicing Ensure contracts are accurate, professionally presented, and signed in a timely manner Conduct hotel site visits and show rounds for prospective clients Maintain accurate records of bookings and client communications

Sales Support



Provide general administrative support to the Sales team Assist with the preparation of proposals, reports, and client follow-ups Proactively research new business leads and analyse competitor activity Identify and maximise revenue opportunities across meetings, events, and group bookings

Marketing & Social Media



Plan, create, and schedule engaging content for all social media platforms using Hootsuite Support monthly social media planning and contribute fresh, creative ideas Manage and update hotel content across online platforms (website, Google, TripAdvisor, etc.) Assist with the production of internal and external marketing materials aligned with brand standards Collaborate with all departments to ensure consistent brand representation

Person Specification



Essential Skills & Experience



Strong written and verbal communication skills Confident engaging with clients at all levels Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently Previous experience in a sales, events, or hospitality environment Proficiency in social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems Professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude Flexibility to support a business that operates 24/7 Fluent English - written and spoken

Desirable



Knowledge of Opera or similar PMS Experience with website CMS tools and basic analytics Degree in Hospitality, Events, Marketing or a related field Previous experience in a branded hotel or similar fast-paced environment
