Job Summary

:

Fire Fighter 24/7 LLP are a family run business who specialise in domestic and residential sprinkler systems and dry riser installations.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating project costs and preparing accurate estimates to support our business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of cost control.

Duties

:

Review Customer specifications Completing bespoke AutoCAD quotations of fire sprinkler systems, to applicable recognised standards Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects by analysing blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documents. Assess materials, labour, and overhead costs to develop precise forecasts. Review and adjust estimates based on changes in project scope or client requirements. Uploading the relevant information to our Construction Management Software

Qualifications

:

Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry is preferred. Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in using estimating software and tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Preferred 2D AutoCAD experience (but not essential).
