Full Time Van Driver
Job Description
We are seeking a fit and enthusiastic driver, with good customer service skills. In addition, our ideal candidate will have good practical experience of manual handling, securing loads safely and time management.
Candidates must have pride in their work and fit in with a professional environment.
Rate of pay 12.50 per hour working week. Weekend rates paid for Saturday and Sunday hours.
Holiday to be accrued 20 working days plus statutory bank holidays.
Hours of Work 45 per week minimum
Weekend work regularly at peak times.
Start Time - dependent upon delivery schedule.
Finish time - dependent upon delivery schedule.
Candidates must be prepared for a flexible work pattern.
Previous experience in logistics will be an advantage.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations while adhering to traffic regulations. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Handle manual tasks such as loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage. Maintain communication with logistics teams to coordinate delivery schedules. Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic mechanical maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
