Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled very experienced Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic to join our dynamic team. We are a well established independent Garage based in Solihull.The successful candidate will be responsible for all Mechanical repairs including Cambelts and wetbelts.

We are looking for someone with proven workshop experience, relevant qualifications, and a proffesional reliable attitude.

Duties

Diagnostics and to Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform Cambelts, Wetbelts, Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and installations. Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards. Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to vehicle maintenance and repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while meeting deadlines. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
