Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
Take accurate orders and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, adhering to food safety regulations
Handle guest inquiries professionally, providing exceptional guest services at all times
Process payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including food safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes
Experience in culinary or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory
A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
