Full Time Yard / Maintenance Person

Role description

We are seeking an individual with good organisational skills to join a local family owned company.

The vacancy is full time, 5 days per week, on a rota basis. The premises opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9am-6pm (9am -5pm during winter), Sunday 10am-4pm.

Statutory entitlements to leave and pension.

Your Daily Duties would include (but are not limited to):

Organising and tidying yard and storage areas Checking and maintaining vehicles and plant Cleaning and jet-washing of vehicles and plant Booking in and out of plant Stock control - monitoring and re-ordering Loading / unloading of vehicles Stock Movement Some Class C Driving as and when required.
The preferred applicant would have the following qualities:

? Excellent organisational ability

? Punctual, reliable and trustworthy

Good customer service manner Good literacy and numeracy skills, with a strong attention to detail Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a small team Experience of working within industrial and retail sectors Full clean UK driving licence Fork-lift truck experience skills and/or experience of basic plant and vehicle maintenance

Class C Driving licence essential

This is a fairly varied role so you must be confident in the above, but also be willing to carry out additional duties as and when required.
