For this role, we are looking for someone who has great interpersonal skills, and enjoys not only the development, but also can interface directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

THE ROLE

In this role, your main aim will be to work to the best of your ability in an agile team working on client site, based in Victoria London one day per week, and/or remote from home. The vast majority of your time will be spent working with our clients to ensure effective delivery of a fast-paced backlog of development items. Your work will include but not be limited to, developing on both backend (generally NodeJS Express / AWS Serverless) and frontend (generally Angular/React) to deliver well designed, performant and scalable digital solutions. You'll have a strong desire to see our business grow and will work closely and collaboratively with the rest of our development team as our company grows.

As you'll be a key developer in our team with plenty of experience yourself, you'll also be expected to share a role of supporting junior developers on our team (with other mid/senior devs on our team) by running/participating in knowledge share sessions and supporting them in their day to day activities as required.

YOU

We are looking for a mid/senior-level JavaScript developer, experienced working with Angular, React (or similar SPA framework) and NodeJS, within an agile team. The person we are looking for...

Must have 2+ years of experience developing using Angular or React (or other SPA framework) or working with JavaScript Must be confident with REST architecture, and integrating with JSON REST API's Must have some knowledge of AWS Architecture and understand what common components are used to achieve Must be confident working with HTML/CSS/SASS/SCSS, to create user friendly experiences as per UX provided designs Must be able to produce high quality, maintainable and scalable code within the frontend application Must have experience working on backend applications, and interacting with databases Must be able to use GIT, or other version control systems Should have experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc Should be familiar with TypeScript, or experienced using pure JavaScript and willing to upskill in this area if appropriate Should be happy to peer review code to ensure consistent high standards across our team Should have good written and communicative skills, alongside a willingness to share knowledge with others in the team and work collaboratively to improve team productivity Preferably will have some experience designing event driven cloud applications and understand the full stack Preferably will have experience writing unit, and integration test cases to ensure your code is well tested using Jasmine & Cypress/Playwright, or other similar technologies

The successful candidate will have the right to live and work within the UK and will be working mainly remotely with one day per week on client site. Our team is based in and around London to facilitate weekly travel to client sites, as required.
