Play Services Ireland is seeking a reliable and organised
full-time Administrator / Bookkeeper
to join our busy office in Lisburn. This role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping experience, excellent Excel skills, and the confidence to support both finance and office administration.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day bookkeeping using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or similar)
Raising invoices and processing purchase orders
Recording payments, expenses, and bank transactions
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Supporting VAT records and reports
Credit control - chasing outstanding invoices by email and phone
Making occasional customer follow-up or sales support calls
General administrative and office support
Essential Requirements
Proven experience using bookkeeping/accounting software
Strong working knowledge of
Microsoft Excel
Previous experience in a bookkeeping or finance admin role
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication skills and confidence on the phone
Ability to work independently and manage workload
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience with VAT (UK and/or ROI)
Experience in a small business environment
Familiarity with multi-currency transactions
