Weekly Structure
o Monday - Cambridge (The Spinney)
You will lead a structured, child-first session working with individual pupils or small groups.
o Tuesday to Friday - Alternative Provision (core)
You will work across our partner sites in:
Peterborough (main)
Stamford (regular)
Kettering (occasional)
Cambridge (as needed)
You may occasionally be asked to step into PE support, but
AP delivery is the primary focus
.

What You'll Be Doing
Delivering planned 1:1 and small-group AP sessions
Using movement and sport to support emotional regulation
Following Play Their Way and trauma-informed methods
Maintaining high safeguarding standards
Managing behaviour through calm authority
Recording key insights to support EHCP and SEMH outcomes
What We're Looking ForEssential
Level 2 coaching
or
Level 3 TA / QTS / Youth Work
Experience working with children
Strong behaviour management
Full UK driving licence + car
Enhanced DBS
Calm, regulated, child-first
Able to travel across sites
Desirable
Experience with SEND, SEMH, or 1:1 behaviour work
Alternative Provision experience

Pay & Hours
AP delivery:
17.50-20.00/hour
Occasional PE support:
13.00-15.00/hour
30 guaranteed hours per week (term time)
Paid induction and CPD
