Our model combines elite football development with high-quality education, building pathways for 16-19-year-old scholars into professional clubs, scholarships, and higher education. We are seeking a committed coach-educator who can deliver both on the pitch and in the classroom.
The Role
We are recruiting a
full-time Youth Development Coach & BTEC Lecturer
to lead, educate and coach our Bradford scholars.

football coaching
,
player development
, and
BTEC Sport teaching
.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching (On-Pitch)
Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions in line with programme philosophy
Coach twice weekly (plus matchdays)
Support player progression, profiling, and individual development plans
Assist with recruitment sessions across the season
Education (Classroom)
Deliver BTEC Level 2 & Level 3 Sport units
Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials
Monitor attendance, progress, and academic performance
Maintain a positive and professional learning environment
Programme Support
Work within safeguarding and welfare policies
Communicate with parents, staff, venues, and professional club partners
Support events, showcases, and trials
RequirementsEssential
Football Coaching Qualifications
(Minimum Level 2 / UEFA C)
Level 3 Teaching Qualification / AET
(or willingness to work towards)
Experience working in an
education or youth development
environment
Enhanced
DBS
(or willingness to obtain - we are fully DBS compliant)
Strong communication, leadership, and organisation skills
Ability to commute to
Bradford

Experience teaching
BTEC Sport
Level 2 or 3
Experience coaching college-age (16-19) players
UEFA B (or working towards)

Salary
26,000-30,000
depending on experience
