Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Bookkeeper to join our friendly and professional team on a permanent, office-based basis in Odiham, Hampshire.

To be considered, you must have prior experience within an accountancy practice, ideally managing multiple client books.

Experience with Xero and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and VAT. A working knowledge of other cloud-based systems such as QuickBooks Online or Dext would be advantageous.

You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive end-to-end bookkeeping service for a variety of clients, including:

General bookkeeping and transaction processing Reconciling bank accounts Preparing and submitting VAT and CIS returns Handling prepayments and accruals Liaising with clients to resolve queries and maintain strong relationships Communicating with HMRC when required Assisting with general administrative tasks as needed
The ideal candidate will:

Be highly organised with excellent time management skills Be confident working both independently and as part of a small team Have strong communication skills and a client-focused approach Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of their work
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
