Job Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and private residences. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalised care, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. Previous experience in senior care, dementia care, or hospice care is highly valued. Duties



Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication administration following prescribed instructions and maintain accurate records Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements Support with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe living environment Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as needed Manage behaviour effectively, especially in clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid skills when necessary Assist with specialised care needs including hospice and palliative care Support children or family members as part of holistic caregiving services

Skills



Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care settings Knowledge of patient care techniques and caregiving best practices Familiarity with Alzheimer's, dementia, and hospice care approaches Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support Strong organisational skills for medication administration and record keeping Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and their families Valid driving licence for transportation duties First aid certification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided if necessary Compassionate demeanour with a genuine desire to improve clients' wellbeing Ability to handle behavioural challenges with patience and professionalism

Pay: 13.50-14.50 per hour
