We are seeking a talented Dispute Resolution Solicitor/Lawyer to join our expanding Dispute Resolution department.
The role
We're looking for someone with solid post-qualification experience (3-6 years) in a broad range of civil and commercial disputes. Experience across some or all of the following would be advantageous:
Contractual and commercial claims (supply, services, sale of goods)
Property and land disputes (boundary/party wall, easements, landlord & tenant)
Contentious probate and trust disputes
Professional negligence
Company/shareholder and partnership disputes
Debt recovery and enforcement
ADR, including mediation and without-prejudice negotiations
Case strategy, drafting statements of case, interim applications and (where appropriate) advocacy
About you
You will:
Demonstrate strong technical ability, sound judgement, and confident case management
Communicate clearly with clients and opponents, with excellent drafting skills
Be comfortable running your own caseload with appropriate supervision
Build and nurture client relationships and play an active role in business development in the local market
Be organised, proactive, and collaborative within a busy team
Location & working pattern
This position is based at our
Elwick Road office in Ashford
, five minutes from Ashford International Station.
