9:30 AM to 3:30 PM

As a

Dog Walker and Dog Boarding Assistant

, you'll be working in a professional, pet-first environment where we treat every dog (and pet) like our own. The pay for this role is

based on completed bookings

, so you will earn for each service you provide.

In addition to dog walking and home boarding, we also offer

cat and puppy visits

, so you will receive training to carry out these services and they may be added to your schedule as requested by customers.

Main Duties:



Transport dogs safely to and from their walks using your own vehicle. Walk dogs for

1 hour

per walk, regardless of weather conditions. Carry out dog care routines, including wiping paws, towel drying, filling water bowls, replenishing food, and using doggie coats when necessary. Take engaging photos and videos of dogs for our business social media accounts. Remove and dispose of pet waste during walks. Provide

home boarding

for dogs during school holidays and weekends (availability required for weekends). For home boarding, you must live in Manchester and have a secure back garden.

This role is not suitable for house-share residents.

Provide

cat and puppy visits

, including feeding, cleaning, and playtime, as requested by customers.

Training will be provided

for these services, and they will be added to your day as needed.

Requirements:



Physically fit

to carry out a minimum of two walks with groups of

4 dogs

per day (training provided). Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels.

Full Driving Licence

and your own

vehicle

(vehicle must have

5 doors

and be no smaller than a

Vauxhall Corsa

). Your vehicle must be capable of fitting

dog crates

or a

dog guard

in the boot. The car should have

5 doors

and be able to safely transport 2 dogs in the boot and 2 on the back seat (with doggie seat belts). Must

live in South Manchester

(Didsbury, Chorlton, or Withington area). Access to a

mobile phone

and/or navigation system. Good knowledge of the local area to ensure efficient and safe walks. Must

undergo training

and

complete a DBS check

. Be

reliable, flexible, and honest

. Previous experience in pet care or dog walking is preferred, but we value genuine passion for animals.
