Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored. Help with the organisation of kitchen supplies and inventory management. Support chefs and cooks during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed. Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling protocols are followed. Maintain a tidy work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is beneficial but not essential. A willingness to learn and develop skills in food preparation and culinary practices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
