Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeper to join our team in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel or hospitality environments, showcasing their ability to provide exceptional service and attention to detail. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Carry out daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring that all items are fresh and well-presented. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors while paying attention to detail in all areas of the establishment. Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning products and equipment safely. Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring that all linens are cleaned, folded, and stored appropriately. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests or concerns with professionalism.

Experience

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A proactive attitude towards work responsibilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
