We are a private dental practice in an affluent suburb of Norwich seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified & Registered Dental Nurse to join our dental practice.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a high standard of patient care, and maintaining a smooth clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
Prepare the surgery for treatment appointments with suitable instruments and materials
Providing chairside assistance and support to all clinicians
Providing reassurance and support for all patients
Sterilising of instruments
Processing and filing of X-rays
Maintaining surgery environment to the highest cross infection standards
Recording accurate information in patients records as required
Advising patients on oral hygiene
Maintain stock levels within the surgery
Maintain registration and comply with all GDC requirements
Assist with reception duties, as and when the need arises

Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments
Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilise equipment as required
Manage patient records accurately using IT systems and ensure all documentation is up-to-date
Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and organising clinical supplies
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
Experience
Prior experience in a dental practice is mandatory;
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of IT systems relevant to dental practice management (like SOE/EXACT) is advantageous
Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Compassionate approach to patient care with excellent interpersonal skills
