Overview
We are seeking a fun loving Cook to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with a keen interest in creating delicious meals. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality dishes to our children.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to menus. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Set shifts are Monday and Friday from 9.30-1.30. TERM TIME ONLY - 38 WEEKS PER YEAR.
Additional hours could be available to cover sickness.If you are good fun and would like to work as part of a small team within the nursery please send your CV in the first instance.
