Your new role:
As the first Fund Accounting seat in our London office this role will provide proactive advice for the finance & reporting team and more broadly on investment transactions due diligence & valuations oversight and governance. This will include:
Technical Accounting
+ Deliver Fund-Level and Single-Legal-Entity specific accounting reports and calculations
+ Up to date knowledge of accounting standards and practices
+ Oversight on accounting due diligence for the Fund, aligning with tax and transaction, and operations areas of the business
Accounting Policies
+ Lead the development and enhancement of accounting policies for our UK and US offices
+ Oversee internal audit findings and implementation, in addition to external audit process and be the key point person for the International Offices
+ Liaise with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure all relevant Finance risks, obligations and policy requirements are identified and mitigated
Stakeholder Engagement
+ Work with all business domains, establishing strong relationships globally
+ Support the Head of International Finance with communications and reports for Senior Leader Committees and Boards etc
You will need:
Relevant Accounting Qualifications
Significant exposure working in Finance (Funds or Audit)
Excellent track record of accounting skills and up to date knowledge of accounting standards and practices
Outstanding communication skills, working with stakeholders, managing tight deadlines
Ability to work autonomously and in a close-knit team environment
This position is based at London King's Cross Estate, one of the core assets of the Fund's global portfolio, with a hybrid work schedule.
