Saint Catherine's Hospice is looking for an Events & Community Fundraiser to lead on the planning, delivery and growth of our events programme--helping to raise vital funds and awareness to support patients and families across our region.


As part of our friendly and dedicated Income Generation team, you will have a key role in organising a wide range of hospice-led events, supporting third-party fundraisers, and engaging with schools, businesses, clubs and local groups to inspire community support.

What you'll do:

Lead the design, planning and delivery of fundraising events across the calendar--from flagship campaigns to community fun runs and third-party initiatives. Build strong relationships with supporters, volunteers and local organisations to grow engagement and participation. Promote events through creative marketing and local media, working closely with our communications team. Ensure events are safe, well-managed, and deliver a great supporter experience--on time and on budget. Represent Saint Catherine's at events, talks and cheque presentations, acting as an ambassador for the hospice in the wider community.

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in event planning or fundraising (charity, corporate or community). Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects. Confident communicator who thrives in a public-facing role. Flexible and proactive approach--willing to work some evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for hospice care and making a meaningful impact.
