To generate income and build lasting partnerships through fundraising initiatives and sponsorship agreements that support the organisation's mission and growth. The Fundraising and Sponsorship Coordinator will lead on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and delivering campaigns that raise funds and increase brand support.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising
Plan and implement creative fundraising campaigns and initiatives (e.g. events, online appeals, raffles, donation drives).
Research and apply for relevant grants and funding opportunities.
Create compelling fundraising materials, proposals, and reports.
Maintain records of donors, fundraising income, and campaign performance.
Sponsorship
Identify and approach potential sponsors (e.g. local businesses, corporate partners, community supporters).
Develop sponsorship packages with clear value propositions.
Negotiate and manage sponsorship agreements, ensuring delivery of agreed benefits.
Build long-term relationships with sponsors to secure ongoing support.
Relationship Management
Maintain communication with donors, sponsors, and supporters through emails, newsletters, and updates.
Organise donor/sponsor appreciation events, shout-outs, or recognition initiatives.
Work with the marketing team to ensure sponsor branding is included in relevant materials and promotions.
General Coordination
Monitor and report on fundraising and sponsorship targets.
Maintain budgets and ensure all fundraising complies with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Support events and community engagement activities where needed.

Qualifications & Experience (Desirable but not essential)
Experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or partnerships
Knowledge of grant writing and funding applications
Familiarity with CRM or donor management systems
Experience in a charity, community organisation, or non-profit setting

Pay: 12,000.00-15,000.00 per year
