We're looking for a motivated and well-organised Fundraising Coordinator to support the delivery of our growing fundraising programme. Working closely with an experienced and successful Head of Fundraising, you'll help generate income from trusts and foundations, corporates, community fundraising, and individual supporters. Administration and prospect research will form a key part of your day-to-day work, helping to ensure our fundraising activity is well-planned, evidence-based, and effectively delivered. This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, managing detail, and contributing creative ideas within a small, ambitious team. You'll gain broad experience across multiple income streams and develop your skills under a mentoring and coaching manager - an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their fundraising career, or for an experienced fundraiser seeking varied, meaningful work within part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Delivery and Administration
Support the development and delivery of a rolling fundraising plan across all income streams.
Carry out detailed prospect research to identify new funders, partners, and supporters, helping to build a balanced and sustainable pipeline.
Draft clear and engaging copy for funding applications, donor communications, event materials, and campaigns.
Provide strong administrative support across the fundraising function, including data entry, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records.
Coordinate community and challenge events, providing excellent supporter care throughout.
Support corporate engagement by maintaining relationships with existing partners and helping to identify and develop new opportunities.
Stewardship & Reporting
Produce timely, high-quality reports and thank-you communications for donors and funders.
Maintain accurate and detailed records in Raiser's Edge, monitoring deadlines and ensuring data integrity.
Collaboration
Work with the Communications Manager to create fundraising content for newsletters, website, and social media.
Support the delivery of fundraising events, online campaigns, and donor engagement activities.
Person Specification
Essential
At least one year's experience in a fundraising or income-generating role, ideally covering more than one income stream,
or exceptional customer service experience with transferable relationship-building skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell stories that inspire action.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Confident using digital tools and keen to learn new systems (CRM, online giving platforms, etc.).
Motivated to work in a fast-paced organisation with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
Comfortable working remotely, with regular virtual check-ins, a monthly in-person working day, and occasional travel to London for events.
Desirable
Experience working in a small charity or start-up environment.
Knowledge of UK fundraising best practice and GDPR.
Creativity and initiative to test new approaches and enhance the supporter experience.
Ideally located in the North West or North East of England.
