To lead the development and delivery of JHF's Fundraising Strategy; building on our existing achievements, expanding and diversifying income streams, and securing the long-term sustainability of the charity.
Context:
At the JHF our primary fundraising priority is securing income from trusts and foundations, which currently provide most of our voluntary funding. While we plan to grow all income streams, this area will remain central. Applicants should have proven skills and experience in leading this focus area and shaping fundraising strategy.
We are committed to fostering a positive and supportive fundraising culture. We set realistic goals and value our fundraiser's expertise. Our CEO and trustees ensure an empowering environment, supporting and recognising our fundraiser's strategic contribution. We work collaboratively and will provide all the necessary support and resources to succeed.
Our fundraising approach is guided by values that prioritise the privacy and dignity of the young people we support. We believe in storytelling that highlights individuals' strengths alongside their needs. We seek partnerships with organisations that respect our expertise and recognise the value we bring. These values are aligned with our vison and mission and are integral to our fundraising approach.
