Mark Shaw Funeral Services, established in 2004, is a locally and independently owned progressive firm looking to offer the highest levels of professional funeral care in and around Aberdeen.
We are looking to recruit an additional Funeral Service Assistant to join our team and be involved with all aspects of funeral care. Training will be provided. Duties will include assisting with:
Transfer and care of deceased
Preparation of coffins
Day to day maintenance and valeting of funeral fleet.
Driving for, and attending funerals.
Ensuring grounds and premises are kept neatly.
Availability for on call rota is essential, for which additional payments are made.
Clean driving license.
Background checks may be carried out.
Applicants must live within Aberdeen due to on-call commitment.
A starting salary is indicated, but will be dependent on candidate, strengths and relevant experience.

The work can be physically and emotionally demanding. A smart, professional appearance and manner is essential.
