Funky Chips is hiring reliable, energetic and disciplined Team Members to join our growing operation in London. Born in Camden Market, our brand operates at high pace and high volume. If you enjoy fast-moving food service, clean execution, and working within a sharp, supportive team, this role will suit you well.
All roles are paid, and we welcome both full-time and part-time applicants.
Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble menu items according to Funky Chips standards, ensuring consistent quality, portion accuracy and presentation
Follow strict hygiene and food safety procedures at all times
Serve customers efficiently at the counter or in the queue, maintaining smooth flow during peak hours
Keep prep, kitchen and service areas clean, organised and compliant with safety guidelines
Handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively during busy periods
Upsell and guide customers through the menu when appropriate
Support team members across different stations (Back of House, Front of House or Show Team) depending on operational needs
Complete daily checklists, stock routines and opening/closing procedures as required
Experience
Previous experience in food preparation, street food or restaurant service is preferred
Knowledge of hygiene standards
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, especially under pressure
Basic maths skills for payments, portioning and stock counting
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Show Team applicants should feel confident working at an open station and engaging with customers
What We're Looking For
Full-time or part-time availability (specified in the application form)
Weekend and evening availability
Eligibility to work in the UK (Right to Work check is required)
Ability to travel reliably to Camden Market or Boxpark Wembley
Positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
Clear communication in English
