An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Rotherham Furnished Homes service, in the role of Furnished Homes and Temporary Accommodation Control Officer.

This is a part-time position (18.5 hours per week), based at the Furnished Homes office near Hellaby Industrial Estate, with some flexibility for home working.

Rotherham Furnished Homes is a fast-paced service providing domestic furniture and white goods to RMBC tenants. The team also manages the delivery of the Council's temporary accommodation provision.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and hard-working individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and providing support to enhance the service.

The post holder will provide administrative support and assistance to the team, including data recording and collection, raising of orders and repairs, checking and receipting of invoices, and processing paperwork and delivery notes.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have experience of customer service and have strong IT skills. You will be a confident communicator, who is positive team player with a collaborative approach to work and can also work well independently.
