We are a growing local furniture company specialising in British built home furniture. We are now looking for committed and conscientious person to join our warehouse, delivery and installation team.
The role involves organising furniture in our warehouse, unpacking and quality control of furniture prior to delivery, delivering and installing furniture in our customer's homes across the UK and providing the highest levels of service and professionalism.
The main focus of the role will be at our Cirencester warehouse assisting the warehouse manager to accept supplier deliveries, undertake quality control and prepare customer orders prior to delivery.
You will communicate daily with customers to schedule and confirm delivery arrangements and regularly undertake customer deliveries as part of a two man team, therefore good communication and customer skills are essential.
This is a varied and interesting role, you will get to see all parts of the country, meet some lovely people, assemble furniture in some lovely homes and finish your day with the satisfaction of a job well done. Being a 'People Person' is kind of essential!

The role is full time - Monday to Friday. A typical day in the warehouse will run to business hours 9-5 and on delivery days start and finish times can vary depending on the day's schedule.
We deliver to customers nationwide and so you will occsionally need to stay away overnight. When that is the case we always provide hotel and overnight expenses.
You will need to be fit and strong (our furniture is heavy), ideally you will have some experience of driving Luton type vans and a decent grasp of UK Geography.
A practical mind with an aptitude for assembly and problem solving is essential.
Starting Salary is 26,000 per annum plus regular bonus and an overnight allowance when applicable, currently 50 per trip.
