Duties

Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various platforms including social media, websites, and promotional materials. Collaborate with team members to develop concepts and scripts for video projects. Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage. Edit video footage using software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and the Adobe Creative Suite. Conduct photo editing using tools like Adobe Photoshop and Capture One to enhance visual content. Manage video projects from conception through to final delivery, ensuring all deadlines are met. Stay updated with the latest trends in videography and social media management to ensure content remains relevant and engaging. Assist in the development of promotional strategies that leverage video content effectively.

Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and the broader Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Strong photography skills with experience in photo editing using Adobe Photoshop and Capture One. Knowledge of journalism principles to create compelling narratives through video. Experience in social media management to effectively distribute video content across various platforms. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both filming and editing processes. A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box when developing concepts for video projects.
