Role profile:
As part of the newly formed FX COO office, you'll help us improve the operating rhythm for the FX teams by focusing on internal communications, people management and marketing.
ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to join the Markets FX team. This role will be pivotal in driving operational excellence across internal communications, people management, and marketing coordination. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational agility, and a collaborative mindset to support the FX Leadership Team and broader business goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Internal CommunicationPromote FX initiatives internally via Connect and Engage platforms.
Maintain document archives and FX intranet sites for easy access to key resources.
Prepare and distribute a monthly business update to keep the team informed.
Curate quarterly townhalls to foster transparency and engagement.
Coordinate annual kick-offs, ensuring inclusive participation from sales, product, risk and regulation, and operations teams.
People ManagementOversee the Employee Reward Framework, and suggest improvements, to enhance team engagement and recognize achievements.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development by implementing initiatives that empower employees to expand their skills, pursue career growth opportunities, and contribute to organizational success.
Champion culture initiatives, including leveraging FX Leadership Team breakfasts to enhance team sentiment.
Lead engagement with HR on the Early Careers program:
Define skillsets required by the business.
Participate in assessments and assign managers to interns/graduates.
Develop a generalized learning curriculum covering product and business knowledge.
Monitor individual progress and gather evaluations from assigned managers.
Maintain and update headcount files to ensure accurate workforce tracking.
Coordinate the operating rhythm to support business continuity and alignment.
Marketing & WebsiteCollaborate with the FX Leadership Team and marketing to develop articles, press releases, journalist interviews, and social media content.
Coordinate logistics and planning for conferences, internal and external events, and client engagements.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:3-5 years of experience in Business Operations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work cross-functionally.
