Games Instructor - Part Time



We are seeking an inspirational Games Instructor to join our school. This is an exciting opportunity for the right applicant to ensure every child had the opportunity to achieve their full potential.



?Specific Responsibilities


Coaching games at all levels following the Waldorf curriculum. Monitoring the work and tracking the progress of the children, taking appropriate action when necessary. Liaising with colleagues across the department to ensure the highest possible standards in Games. Maintaining accurate records of pupil participation to ensure that all pupils at the school receive the opportunity to participate. Monitoring and maintaining high standards of conduct in Games. Building relationships with parents and communicating effectively. Ensuring the safety and welfare of the children at all times ensuring that all pastoral and medical needs are met. Supporting best practice in health and safety in respect of games and ensuring adherence to relevant guidance issued by national sporting bodies related to the safety of pupils. Ensuring that all relevant risk assessments are followed in respect of Games.

Personal attributes


Infectious enthusiasm and passion for teaching Games. A professional manner and appearance. Friendly, warm personality with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively. Clear communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work independently and as a member of a year group team. Wholehearted commitment to the life of a vibrant school.
