Location:

Coolings Wych Cross Garden Centre, Colemans Hatch Road, Forest Row, East Sussex, RH18 5JW

Contract Type:

Permanent, Part Time

Shift Pattern:

22.5 hours per week (over a two-week rota). Includes alternate weekends (both Saturday and Sunday). Hours: 09:00 - 17:00.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable plant lover to join our team at Wych Cross. Whether you're already working in horticulture or have strong personal experience and passion, we want to hear from you.

Main duties will include:

Maintaining plant displays to a high standard

Generating sales opportunities through interaction with customers

Ensuring an excellent standard of merchandising and housekeeping are maintained in accordance with company guidelines

Guaranteeing that products are accurately priced and labelled

Advising and helping customers

Ensure stock is watered to the correct requirements

Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Other duties as part of the day-to-day running of the plant area

Key skills required:

Strong understanding of roses

Excellent customer service skills

Extensive plant knowledge

Enjoy working as part of a team

Accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to provide high levels of customer service

Physically active and capable of performing manual tasks

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 22.5 per week
