Job Description

Gardener/labourer required for busy garden maintenance company covering Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Position on offer is seasonal(March - December) and flexible(1-5 days per week) with pensions, holiday pay available as standard.

We also take on Self Employed Gardeners.

Experience and/or qualifications are essential and full intensive training is given to the right candidate.

Full clean UK driving license is required.

Ability to communicate clearly in English written and spoken is essential.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general duties in garden and landscape maintenance
- Mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Weed and mulch garden beds
- Clean and maintain outdoor spaces including active construction yards(CSCS/PVG is advisable in some circumstances)
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines

Skills:

- Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in almost all weather conditions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members
