Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team at Lyons Lido Beach. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and landscape maintenance, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves nurturing plants, maintaining gardens, and ensuring that outdoor spaces are aesthetically pleasing and healthy.

Duties

Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks. Perform landscape maintenance, including mowing, pruning, weeding, and planting. Irrigate gardens and ensure proper watering techniques are applied to promote healthy growth. Assist in the growing of plants, flowers, and vegetables as per seasonal requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of gardening equipment and work areas. Collaborate with team members to design and implement garden layouts that enhance the overall landscape. Monitor plant health and identify any pest or disease issues, taking appropriate action as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in groundskeeping or garden maintenance is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in gardening practices. Knowledge of plant care, including irrigation methods and seasonal growing techniques. A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
