Gardener/Landscaper (Self-Employed)

We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Gardener/Landscaper to join our team! Based out of our Fleet office, you'll be working in housing-association owned properties across Hampshire and surrounding areas. The role involves a wide range of of outdoor works, with the majority carried out on void (empty) properties, and occasional work at tenanted homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gardening/landscaping, and an understanding of social housing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Garden maintenance:

strimming, grass cutting, hedge trimming, and full cutbacks

Clearances

: removal of sheds, concrete bases, and general outdoor waste

Fencing

: repairs and new installations

Landscaping

: paving and related works Ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard Working independently or collaboratively as part of a team Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

Experience in gardening/landscaping and fencing Ability to undertake a variety of outdoor tasks independently Own plant/machinery (desirable) Experience working in similar roles (social housing experience an advantage) Strong attention to detail and quality Excellent communication and customer service skills, and a team player Reliable, professional and able to work to deadlines

You'll need to have a full, clean, current driving license and your own van and tools. This is a self-employed role, with the opportunity of becoming employed after 6 months.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 160.00 per day

Experience:
