We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual for the role of Gardening. This position involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various gardening tasks. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in horticulture, ensuring that gardens are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
Responsibilities
Perform general gardening tasks including planting, weeding, pruning, and mulching to maintain healthy garden beds.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various gardening activities.
Irrigate plants and manage watering schedules to ensure optimal growth conditions.
Assist in landscape maintenance, including the upkeep of lawns, flower beds, and other green areas.
Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases, taking appropriate action to address issues.
Collaborate with team members to design and implement new garden layouts or enhancements.
Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment after use to ensure longevity and safety.
Experience
Previous experience in gardening or groundskeeping is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is highly valued.
Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and techniques is advantageous.
Knowledge of growing techniques for various plants, flowers, and shrubs will be beneficial.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for this role.
