As part of this growth, we're hiring Gardenworks Operative to help connect rural homes and businesses to our network. Whether you have experience in fibre installation, utilities, or general construction, if you're practical, motivated, and ready to learn--we want to hear from you.



Please note a full UK Driving license is required.

What You'll Be Doing:

Install fibre infrastructure from the garden boundary to the property termination point, ensuring high standards are delivered at all times. Interpret and update digital as-built maps to accurately record completed works using company systems. Conduct daily equipment and machinery checks to maintain operational safety and efficiency. Work within underground networks, including Openreach PIA and Wessex Internet's own infrastructure. Carry out site surveys to assess, plan and complete future installations. Engage with customers to agree the most practical and unobtrusive fibre route, avoiding existing garden services. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless job execution and timely completion.

NPORS 360 excavator (under 10t) PIA accreditations (SA001, SA002, S7, S8) NRSWA / IPAF certifications
