Job Description

Patersons Quarries are an independent quarrying company based in Coatbridge, we have sites across the central belt of Scotland and supply a wide range of quarry products, ready-mix concrete, concrete blocks and concrete bricks.

We are currently looking to recruit a dependable and diligent Gardener / Yard Operative to join us at our busy Depot in Coatbridge.

Please note some gardening experience is a requirement of this role.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your role will be to assist with various duties, including:

Gardening duties across multiple sites in the group which includes grass cutting, weeding, hedge trimming and maintaining plants/shrubbery. Yard maintenance including organising and tidying all areas of the yard. To maintain good housekeeping for yard areas and buildings. General labouring duties. Adhering to all H&S procedures on site, ensuring high levels of Health, Safety and Environmental practice with a duty of care to yourself and others. Travel to multi sites in company van to maintain grounds as required by the business so flexibility to drive to and operate on other sites is an essential requirement of this role. Full driving licence required.

Pay: 14.00-14.50 per hour
