This role offers the opportunity to work with a small, friendly womenswear supplier who works with a broad range of well-known high street retailers.The role is full time, and the successful candidate will take control of all aspects of garment technology in close collaboration with design.The role would suit a technologist with over 4 yearsxe2x80x99 experience who wants to use their skills to take this area of the business and run with it; managing and moving garment technology forward to continually improve product quality.This opportunity offers lots of room for growth, development and fulfilment, bringing quality products to market.Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of garment technology role using autonomy to manage workload.
• Work closely with colleagues in design and production to provide quality products for customer.
• Working knowledge of pattern cutting ideally with Gerber or Vetigraph.
• Experience with Jersey, Woven occasion wear, Soft tailoring.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing market and supply options within in.
• Working closely with overseas suppliers.
• Managing fitting and grading.
• Knowledge of customer standard/manual/ testing requirements to push forward excellence.
• Identifying improvements and taking corrective action.
• Minimising returns and cost of quality through effective supplier/product management.
• Ensuring timely product progression in line with project timelines-critical path.
• Commercial understanding of the market.

• Over 4 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in similar role.
• Self-starter.
• Keen to develop technology dept.
