Oversee and develop the garment technology function, keeping ?RN Workwear ranges fresh and innovative with a clear focus on sustainability.
Research expected trends, designs, and our competition to ensure ?RN Workwear is agile and flexible with new products.
Work alongside current and new suppliers to create the most environmentally sustainable products in the industry.
Conduct regular video meetings with and visit (if viable) suppliers and factories overseas to continually grow and develop working relationships.
Make recommendations to senior stakeholders on more efficient ways to produce our garments, i.e., technological advancements, machinery, and materials.
Making and sizing pre-production garments.
Sourcing fabrics and accessories.
Undertaking quality evaluations of materials and checking the quality of the final product.
Overseeing fabric testing and fittings of first samples.
Monitor product performance / customer feedback and be proactive in decision making and recommendation to senior stakeholders.
Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned and on budget

Update and maintain all internal systems / CRM.
Oversee colour control, lab dips, pre-production samples and fabric swatches.
Managing and developing tech packs and size charts.
Create a database holding ?RN Workwear's own digital patterns.
Keep the Managing Director and senior stakeholders regularly informed on product updates, samples.
Specific Skills and Experience
Essential
Previous role working as a garment technologist with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
Demonstrate an understanding of pattern cutting, construction and manufacturing techniques.
Ability to convey technical information clearly in layman's terms.
Exceptional eye for technical detail to consistently ensure the correct documentation is used and followed.
Applied technical knowledge of fabrics and threads.
Experience of working / collaborating with overseas partners.
Confident in supporting presentations with senior leaders and customers.
High levels of resilience - proven ability to work under pressure.
The ability to build effective and beneficial relationships with internal and external parties.
Excellent problem-solving ability - prepared to 'think outside of the box' to find solutions to satisfy both the customer and ?RN.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other members of the team.
Able to work to set targets (KPIs) financial budgets and tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software / CRM.
Desirable
Experience of working in the wholesale clothing sector.
Degree or equivalent in textile design.
Generic Qualities

Pay: 35,000.00-38,000.00 per year
