The Role
We are currently seeking a
Qualified Gas & Plumbing Technician
to join our growing team. This role offers exciting opportunities to upskill and gain certifications in high-demand areas of the energy sector, including
OFTEC (Oil), Solar PV, and HETAS (Solid Fuel),
helping you expand your capabilities and earning potential.
You will be responsible for the
installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance of domestic gas appliances and plumbing systems
, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. We're looking for passionate, safety-conscious engineers who take pride in delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Install, service, diagnose, and repair
domestic gas appliances
, including
boilers, cookers, and gas fires
Carry out
plumbing installations, leak repairs, and general maintenance
of domestic plumbing systems
Perform
new boiler installations
, including system upgrades and replacements, in line with manufacturer specifications and Gas Safe standards
Ensure all work complies with
Gas Safe regulations
and current building standards
Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding policies
Complete servicing and repairs in social housing properties, achieving a 'first-time fix' wherever possible using our 24-hour support network
Participate in the
out-of-hours emergency call-out rota
Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety compliance
Qualifications & Experience (Required)
Full UK driving licence
A minimum of NVQ Level 2 or 3
in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent) is
required

Right to work in the UK
Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
Gas Safe registered
, able to issue CP12 certificates
(Preferable)
ACS qualifications
: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
(Preferable)
Experience in
domestic plumbing
systems and
boiler installations
Skills & Attributes
Strong customer service and communication skills
High attention to detail and quality of work
Ability to manage time and workload effectively
Good IT and administrative skills
Flexible and proactive approach to work
Confidence in carrying out both gas and plumbing-related tasks independently
Working Hours
Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Flexibility required to meet client/site needs
Participation in on-call rota for emergency works
Location & Work Environment
This is a field-based role operating primarily across
South West London
, with occasional travel to other areas across Greater London. A company vehicle will be provided for all work-related travel.
