WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We're seeking an experienced
Gas Safe Engineer
to join our team working across social housing properties throughout Surrey. You'll be carrying out a mix of boiler installations, servicing, breakdown work, and general plumbing tasks.
This role requires strong hands-on experience with domestic gas systems, boiler diagnostics, plumbing repairs, and legally compliant certification work. You'll be working independently in people's homes, ensuring safety, quality, and professionalism at all times.

YOU'LL NEED:
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Gas Engineer
Gas Safe qualifications
including:
CCN1
CENWAT
Strong experience in boiler breakdowns, servicing, and replacements
Good plumbing knowledge (taps, valves, immersion heaters, tanks, sanitaryware, pipework, etc.)
Ability to diagnose faults and source correct parts
Understanding of Gas Safety Regulations and compliance
Competence completing legally compliant certificates and paperwork
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carrying out boiler installations, replacements, servicing, and repairs
Attending boiler breakdowns, diagnosing issues, and carrying out repairs
Completing Gas Safety Certificates and ensuring all documentation is legally compliant
Handling both reactive and planned maintenance for gas and plumbing systems
Carrying out general plumbing repairs (taps, valves, tanks, immersion heaters, sanitaryware)
Heating system repairs (pumps, valves, filters, pipework, power-flushing)
First and second fix plumbing for kitchens, bathrooms, and heating systems
Central heating wiring - installation, fault-finding, service, and repair
Plant room maintenance, servicing, and fault-finding
Assisting with blocked drains and waste clearance when required
Completing clear, accurate report sheets and using the company app correctly
Participating in the call-out rota (1 week in every 6 or 7)
Safely collecting and returning property keys from clients and agents
Identifying potential new business opportunities when on site
