Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of gas safety regulations and the ability to work effectively with various tools and equipment.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and heating systems. Conduct thorough inspections of gas installations to ensure compliance with safety standards. Perform routine servicing and emergency repairs on gas systems. electrical diagnosing skills Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks. Assemble components as required for installation projects. Carry out heavy lifting when necessary to move equipment or materials. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and plumbers, to complete projects efficiently. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. experience in a number of different manufacturers appliances

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

A minimum of 10 years qualified experience is required for this role A strong mechanical knowledge with experience in gas engineering or a related field. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Experience installing pipework. Have a strong understanding of phone based cloud systems for job notes A commitment to health and safety practices in all aspects of work.

Pay: 37,500.00-40,000.00 per year
