We are seeking a skilled gate Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, quality and wiring of the gates.designing, developing, and understanding of tooling, schematics, and continuous improvement methodologies. The gate Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions within our manufacturing environment.
Duties
Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues within existing automation processes and implement effective solutions.
Assemble and test prototypes of automated systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Maintain documentation of designs, processes, and improvements for compliance and future reference.
Requirements
Proven experience in gate engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
Experience with FEIG panels and programming languages relevant to automation systems.
Familiarity with tooling fabrication techniques and processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly.
