We at Leisure Guard Security aim to be a leading provider of manned security services to the Leisure, Retail, and Construction Industries, through recognition as a company that gives a great deal of attention to the needs of its employees, customers, and the services it provides.

We provide a wide range of services, ranging from Ambassador/Concierge Guards, Static Guarding, Mobile Patrols, K9 Guarding, Monitored CCTV Towers; to Fire Security Solutions, extinguisher servicing and supplying, as well as general commercial cleaning and COVID-19 Decontamination, Fogging Services and more.

Role Purpose:

To maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all staff, contractors and visitors.

Role Requirements:

We seek to fill this post at the earliest opportunity.

12.35 per hour.

Working to a 4 on, 4 off rotation of day and night shifts (42 hours average per week). Overtime available.

6-month probation period.

The role is based at our clients sites in Royton & Whitefield.

Specific Duties:

- Duties include but not limited to:

- Ensure that a safe and pleasant environment is maintained.

- Ensure that all policies are observed and maintained.

- Adhering to security and health and safety procedures.

- Adhering to site Assignment Instructions.

- Ensuring the health and safety of all staff and visitors to site

- Ensuring the safety of all customer assets on site

- Ensuring a swift response when necessary

To be suitable for this role you must meet all of the following criteria:

- Be smart and well presented at all times

- Have an SIA SG/DS/CP licence (Having an SIA CCTV licence is an added bonus)

- Be polite, helpful and diligent, with a 'can do' ethos

- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Be able to provide the highest standard in customer service

- Have previous experience in the security industry

- Be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements

- Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations

- Be able to work without supervision and also as a member of a team

- Have a full five-year checkable work history and required documentation to be vetted

- Be at ease with using technology to submit reports and communicate with support teams, clients and management

- Be comfortable dealing with client staff and management and communicating/escalating issues.

- Driving License

- Passport or full birth certificate

- Visa (if relevant)

- Bank Statements with account number, sort code and address - dated within the last 2 months

- Proof of address (such as a utility bill) - dated within the last 2 months

- Proof of National Insurance Number

- Details of 2 personal references (that must not be relatives or live at the same address)
