Role Purpose


Lead the delivery of a commercial partnership strategy for Great Britain Cycling Team's partners, as part of British Cycling's overarching commercial strategy, across the following main workstreams: + Develop a performancefocused commercial partnership strategy that aligns with the needs of the Great Britain Cycling Team and our Commercial ambition.
+ Proactively source commercial partnerships that support worldclass performances.
+ Maintain strong partner relationships through excellent delivery, including appropriate tracking, communication, and reporting. Work alongside the wider commercial partnerships team to uphold British Cycling's goldstandard approach to partner service.
Collaborate with the Great Britain Cycling Team and the wider business to manage the delivery of performance projects linked to British Cycling's commercial partnerships. Act as a liaison between athletes/coaches and the commercial team to ensure commitments to British Cycling's commercial partners are met.

Key Accountabilities




Lead the delivery of a commercial partnership strategy for Great Britain Cycling Team's partners, as part of British Cycling's overarching commercial strategy. Develop, implement, and evolve the commercialisation of the Great Britain Cycling Team. Create and agree on partnership activation plans that deliver on stated partnership objectives and performance goals. Proactively source key partners in line with the commercial acquisition strategy and the technical needs of the Great Britain Cycling Team. Manage the delivery of rights, benefits, and campaign activations. Support athlete appearances and accompany athletes/staff in person (as required), creating opportunities for riders through partnerships. Act as the lead partnership contact for Great Britain Cycling Team riders and colleagues, managing enquiries and requests, and liaising with the Performance Director, GBCT staff, riders, agents, and the commercial team. Work with the British Cycling digital content team to produce content that promotes the impact of partnerships. Collaborate with the communications team to plan, coordinate, and deliver media engagement tactics ahead of major events and other occasions.

About You




Experienced in commercial partnerships, with a track record of securing and delivering partnerships that provide impact and value. Extensive knowledge of the UK, European, and global cycling markets. Exceptional project management and relationship management skills. A strategic thinker, able to identify risks and opportunities in advance. A clear and confident communicator who can advocate for our partners internally and externally. Comfortable working at pace, often managing multiple projects simultaneously. Willing to work flexibly, including responding to partners and colleagues out of hours, and able to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.
