We are seeking an experienced

GCP Architect

(

Contract

Inside IR35) to join our client's team in London (Hybrid). The successful candidate will design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform. You will lead cloud migration projects, collaborate across teams, and ensure cloud solutions meet governance, performance, and compliance standards.

Key Skills:

8+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, etc.) Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures using GCP services Lead cloud migration projects from on-premise to GCP Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and business teams to integrate cloud-native solutions Ensure compliance with cloud security, governance, and industry standards Build and manage GitHub CI/CD workflows with approvals and automation Optimize cloud performance and cost through monitoring, tuning, and best practices Stay current with GCP product updates and emerging industry trends Document architectural decisions, cloud configurations, and operational processes Strong expertise in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitHub or similar tools In-depth knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance requirements Experience leading cloud transformation and migration projects at scale Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver robust technical solutions Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Pay: 450.00-500.00 per day
