What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation of high-level designs and other key design artefacts, working across multiple domains to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.



This role involves collaboration across architecture disciplines and business teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with strategic objectives and enterprise standards. You'll play a critical role in defining architectural direction, supporting delivery, and enabling the transition towards target states.

The Role:

Lead the creation of High-Level Designs (HLDs) and other architectural artefacts. Define and visualise architecture using modelling languages such as ArchiMate to represent complex systems clearly and effectively. Apply understanding of architecture building blocks and integration patterns, maintaining a technology-agnostic approach where appropriate. Collaborate and lead a cross-functional team of Solution Architects and subject matter experts (Integration, Infrastructure, Security). Work closely with Test Teams, Service Introduction, and Data Governance teams to support effective project delivery. Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Testers, and Service Introduction to ensure cohesive solution delivery. Contribute to Enterprise Architecture discussions, influencing and defining transitional architectures that move the organisation toward target states.

What you will bring:

Minimum of 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years as a Solution Architect. Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Solution Delivery, and Solution Design. Strong background in high-level design creation and architectural governance. Proficiency with ArchiMate or similar modelling languages. Solid understanding of architecture frameworks, integration patterns, and building blocks. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience working in hybrid teams, balancing technical depth with delivery focus.
