Duties

Deliver customised tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs and learning styles Assist students with understanding subject material, homework, and exam preparation Develop and implement lesson plans that promote active learning and critical thinking Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement Adapt teaching strategies for students with special educational needs or learning difficulties Maintain a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to motivate learners of all ages, especially children Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for development Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and student achievements

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across various subjects Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts and foster understanding Experience working with children and an understanding of child development principles Knowledge of special education techniques and inclusive teaching practices is desirable Excellent organisational skills to plan engaging lessons and track student progress Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities Adaptability to tailor approaches based on individual learner requirements
